Recovery Medicine, including The Spa@ Recovery Medicine and The Boutique@ Recovery Medicine is a place for everyone. We strive to provide a non-judgmental and caring space. We value wellness, grace, serenity, honesty, & integrity.

Established in 2024 by Dr. Katie to provide integral healthcare to people seeking recovery. The Spa@ Recovery Medicine was established to redefine what recovery means. We provide a myriad of self care services including acupuncture, facials, chemical peels, IV hydration, and injectables. You define your full potential, and we work with you to achieve your goals.

Meet the Team

  • I have been practicing medicine since 1997. I am trained in Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and Medical Acupuncture. I have worked in a variety of settings including academics, county hospitals, and inpatient treatment of substance use disorders and their co-morbidities. I love my work. I created Recovery Medicine to provide a place for true integration of mind, body, and spirit. I practice Integral Medicine. My practice blends the use of medications, conversations, and acupuncture to support the whole person in achieving joy and optimal function.

  • My 53 year nursing career has been diverse, always with a healthcare focus, even when I practiced law for a short time. My greatest joy has been as a Nurse Practitioner over the past 9 years providing care to addiction medicine clients. In 2021, I accepted a position working closely with a friend who owned a medical aesthetics business.  I learned how to perform a variety of cosmetic services, including injectables, laser, PRP and other therapies. In our practice at The Spa@Recovery Medicine, I enjoy learning about my client's healthcare and beauty goals to provide services toward meeting those through injectables, facials, peels and IV therapy.

  • With over 14 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, I’ve dedicated much of my career to addiction medicine nursing, supporting individuals on their path to recovery. My passion for healing and creativity led me to join Recovery Medicine, where I now help clients achieve their health and skincare goals through a holistic and compassionate approach.

    I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the Denver School of Nursing, and I am a trained injector as well as a certified facialist. My goal is to blend medical expertise with aesthetic care to support you on your unique recovery and wellness journey.
