Open, Open, Open

What a journey it has been. I started Recovery Medicine to practice medicine my way. I love addiction medicine. I love working with people. I was about to type “people with struggles”, but being human and struggles are inseparable.

A little more than one year later Recovery Medicine includes a medical practice, a spa, and a boutique. We are dedicated to redefining recovery. When first approached about having medical aesthetics services I balked. This was not consistent with my judgements about recovery. Cyndy Hartsfield changed that in one conversation. I am not the judge of how others express and create themselves. I am a fellow traveler.

Cyndy, Shelby, and I have worked together to create a safe and inviting space for people to be human. A space where your struggles can untangle and some can drop away.
